Happy Fourth of July

We had fun celebrating the Fourth of July!!  We spent our 4th (and the days leading up to it) swimming, making smores, eating home-made ice cream, and shooting off fireworks!!  Maddie, of course, loved every minute of all of it and wanted to get closer to the fireworks than mommy liked!!  And Cooper, as always, was my easy baby that just goes with flow!!  I can't believe it is already July...Summer needs to slow down!!

Guess who is Three!

I can't believe my little girl is already three years old...she is definitely growing up way to fast!!  She is hilarious and says the funniest things!!  We are so lucky to have such a great little girl!!

A few tidbits about Miss Madelyn...

- She loves pink, ScoobyDoo, chocolate malts, & swimming

- She hates having her hair brushed and fixed

- She want to do everything..."I do it, I do it"

- She is obsessed with watching movies

- She loves to be naked
- She has an incredible memory...never forgets a thing

- She is fearless (like her daddy)

- She has a pet fish named Barney
- She works the IPAD better than I do

- She doesn't like to have her nails painted (I still do it though)

- She is a really good Big Sister

We decided this year that we would spend her birthday with family and then the next weekend we would have a birthday party with friends!

We started the morning with presents and breakfast!!

Then we took Coop to Grandmas and just Mom, Dad, & Maddie went to DeAnna Rose Farm!!  We had so much fun & it wasn't very crowded (probably because it was close to 100 degrees) so we got see and do everything!!  She mined for gold, fished, bottle fed the baby goats, and almost got ate by a cow!!

After DeAnna Rose we let Maddie pick where she would like lunch...she picked McDonald's...Inside!!  It's the little things that just get her so excited!

Later that night Grandma and Papa Smith, Uncle Joey, Grandma Burris, & Uncle Dain came over for dinner, cake, and homemade ice cream.  Maddie also got to open more presents and do some fireworks with daddy!
