We're Going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...

Today was gorgeous!!  I knew we needed to take advantage of this weather and do something outside because we won't have too many more days like this!!  I thought it would be a great day for the zoo!!  Maddie has been to the zoo a few times so she was super excited and this was Cooper's first trip!  Grandma came with us so it made 'taming' Maddie a little easier!!

We had tons of fun!!  But...we think maybe the animals were all relaxing and enjoying this beautiful weather too!  We had a hard time finding some of them!!  But oh well...we saw the polar bear, elephants, giraffes, & the monkeys (and the monkey cage was not G rated...if you know what I mean).

Best part of the day...BOTH kids were asleep by 8:00pm!!  AND that's a B-I-G deal in our house!!!

Push Please??

My sweet Coop loves to swing!  And he has the biggest-best smile ever when he is swinging!!  There is nothing better than these wonderful summer evening with the little man in his swing having his Big Sis give him a push, sometimes a TOO big of a push!!

 

 

 

 

 

Dancing Queen

As much as it breaks my heart that my little girl is growing up so quickly, I do love watching her grow and experience new things!!  Maddie loves to dance and is constantly...as she would say..."Shaking my Booty"...so I was so excited that she was able to start dance this summer at Diane's School of Dance!!  This is where I danced throughout school as well!!  I hope (and know) that she will enjoy it as much as I did when I was there!  I am so looking forward to many years of tutus, tap shoes, and recitals!

Momma's Boy

Oh, sweet Cooper...this boy loves his momma and his momma loves that!!!!  He is such a good baby (minus the whole sleeping through the night - but everyone knew I had that coming), he loves to be held, and best of all...he looks like me too!!  When he smiles his whole face smiles and it just melts my heart!  He is just so stinking cute - I could spend hours kissing his cheeks!  I absolutely love watching him learn new things everyday...but I just hate how quickly he is becoming a big boy!

Miss Madelyn

Miss Maddie is one energetic girl!!  She is nonstop excitement all day (really...ALL day!)  She is almost three and I am beginning to think that three is going to be a lot harder for us than two was!  She is quite set in her way and used to getting her way most of the time!!  I think Mad is very similar to her daddy - hilarious, too much energy, and a lot of times up to no good!
