Christmas with the Smiths

Next stop...the Smith's house!!  Maddie definitely was into opening gifts so she couldn't wait to get there to start opening everyone's presents!!  She got so many fun things but I think her favorite was the one-person trampoline.  She jumped for hours!!  We had tons of fun opening presents, playing with our presents, snacking and then a delicious dinner!!

We had such a fun & exhausting day!!  Matt and I litterally have the BEST parents and the kids are so lucky to have such awesome grandparents!!  We are both so thankful that we live so close to our families and we are able to spend this day with everyone!!

Christmas with the Burris'

After we open presents at our home we head over to Grandma & Papa Burris'.  We open presents with Grandma, Papa, Uncle Wade, & Uncle Dain.  Then we have a HUGE breakfast together!!  It is a perfect Christmas morning!!

Christmas Morning - Our House

I could barely sleep because I was so excited for Christmas Morning...I couldn't wait to see Maddie's expression and to see how excited she would be!  I also knew Cooper would love getting in to his new toys!

The house was all ready!!  Just waiting for some little people to wake up!!

So many presents!

Matt is a really big kid!!  When we went shopping for the kids he really wanted to get Cooper this remote control car...I had to remind him that Cooper was only one and I just didn't think he would really be able to use it...but I could tell Matt really wanted the car for himself.  Maddie and I went back to the store later and I got him the car from the kids!  Seriously...Matt was like a child - playing with the car all day long!  

Maddie also loved the car - and Matt isn't the best sharer!!

What a morning!!  Two more Christmases to go!!

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve almost as much as I love Christmas Day!  We always begin our evening with a Wonderful Dinner with the Smiths.  This year we ate at Capital Grill...it was delicious!!

After dinner we go over to my parents house and hang out for a little bit and then head to their neighbors  house (The Races').  I have spent every Christmas Eve that I can remember at their house!!

Christmas Dance Program

 We were so excited to watch Maddie dance at her Christmas Program at Dianes School of Dance.  She did such a great job!  All the girls were so cute and Maddie had a blast!

Ho Ho Ho

I was so excited for the kids to visit Santa this year!  Maddie is really starting to get it and she is in such awe of everything and it is amazing to watch!

I could of bet money on exactly what the kids were going to do...Maddie was going to ham it up for Santa, and Cooper would be terrified and cry!  Poor guy...he is just so shy!!

Anywhoo...I wanted a pic of Santa holding them both (so Cooper had to suck it up for a minute)

Maddie loved talking to Santa.  She told him that she wanted a baby doll.

the "3's" weren't kind to her and she has had some pretty naughty moments this year!

The weather was great, the kids cooperated, and we had an AMAZING photographer!!  I was so pleased with the pictures!

Halloween Fun!

Maddie was so excited for Halloween this year!  She loves all the scary things associated with Halloween.  I took her into one of the Halloween stores and she had the B.E.S.T. time - She was litterally laying on the floor throwing a fit when I made her leave!

I was planning on Maddie being a princess for Halloween (I had two dresses from our disney trip) - but she said "NO MOM...I AM BAT GIRL"...and she was serious.  Matt and I took her to the store and let her pick out her outfit...and I have to say...she was one darn cute bat girl!  And my sweet Cooper was a dragon!  He was Adorable!!
